How do district policies support your teaching?

Participants will develop either a presentation to their building staff or a lesson plan for their students focusing on legal issues and district policies relating to technology.

Teachers understand the social, ethical, legal, and human issues surrounding the use of technology in PreK-12 schools and apply those principles in practice.

	Summarize copyright laws and how they apply to education
	Correctly interpret EULA (end user licensing agreements) including number of copies of a piece of software which may be legally installed
	Properly document resources used in a presentation, web page, etc.
	Know and implement district P1230 Internet and Online Services
	Become familiar with FERPA and CIPA policies
	Understand the Fair Use Guidelines for education
	Know about the Acceptable Use policy
